| In recognition of Bute's exceptionally rich and diverse natural environment, The Heritage Lottery Fund (Landscape Partnership Scheme)approved funding for £1.9 million towards a total project cost of £2.4 million for an initiative that will promote greater awarness, appreciation and understanding of the island's rural landscape heritage.
