At the ground level, cast-iron Doric columns with decorative iron brackets attached (excepting at the front entrance), support a cantilevered glazed awning; while above, around the clearstorey edge of the dome, there is a balustraded walkway with cast-iron lamp standards. Ornamental ironwork includes scrolls, finials, and Art Nouveau motifs.
