The re-development of a key site on Rothesay’s seafront, 3-31 Victoria Street, was a multi-million pound partnership-driven venture that involved the purchase and subsequent demolition of 7 dilapidated tenements. Completed in 2001, the re-development provided a mix of affordable new homes (25) and commercial premises (8), the architecture reflecting the highest level of sensitivity to the site’s surrounding built environment and the Outstanding Conservation Area status of Rothesay town. |
